Thailand participated in the World Cup for 7 times before. Thailand achieved its the best accomplishment when they were playing in 11^th tournament where they lost in the final game against Hungry 0-1. They qualified to the second stage in the previous edition.

Thai National team has gone up this World Cup after they were getting the first place of the 4^th group which was combine France (Runner-up of the previous edition), Saudi Arabia, United Emirates, Malaysia and Estonia. The competition among Thailand, KSA and France was fierce, but Thai National Team has grabbed the first seat.

Manager Mikael trains Thailand. Although he considers one of the oldest managers in Thailand, he trains them for the first time. He may lead Thailand to snatch the title as result to they have a lot of terrific players in every position on the grass. The best players of U-21 Thailand Team are the defenders Khet Karladee and Racharit Pantumapol, the midfielder Napitch Maxintai and the striker Kamnan Kespratoom.
